Planning a layout change

Hello buddies. :) I’m really sorry about my very long hiatus. My duties of a Leader have been keeping me busy, but now I’m hoping to find more time to update this blog. ^^ I owe it to you and to my mom too, to whom the domain name is dedicated.

So, I’ve been thinking about changing the EileenSON layout, but I’m not sure yet. I’m trying to get deeper with web design and template choosing, especially after I read “Wordpress layouts are the outer appearance of blogs“. The article states that, while it’s very easy to find a premated Wordpress theme that will suit your blog, it’s in fact hard enough to choose the right WP layout that will make your visitors wanting to come back. Who does ever like a rough badly coded theme? ^^” But it’s true that also a layout with too many images can damage a blog: too many images (especially animated ones) are distracting and it would get harder for the reader to focuc on the entry content. So you see, choosing the right layout is not easy at all. ^^” And then, of course, there’s the color thing. As you can see, my blog is mostly green because my mom’s armor was green, and since the domain name is dedicated to her, I thought to sticking to the color green, even if I change design.

Layout change and grades

Layout change! :D Hehe. Finally, I would say. I haven’t been much around this past week since school has been hitting it real hard. I’ve had tests nearly every day, and it’s a true relief that I have a couple of days to relax now. Yeah… just a couple of days, because from Tuesday I’ll have to resume studying for the tests of the rest of the week: Geometry, History, Literature, and a short Arts essay on Friday. Eeek T_T But I shall survive, I know that.

Excluding those subjects, my grades so far have been:

• Italian grammar and literature: 9
• Latin language and literature: 7
• English language and literature: 8
• French language and literature: 6
• Geography: 8
• Maths: 8
• P.E.: 7

I’m pretty much satisfied with them, expect that 6 (minimum positive grade) in French T_T But well, it’s a new language for me to learn, so it will just take time I guess. LOL.

New Domain and Robocity news

We got a Monthly Reunion on the 27th. It was pretty short, so I can’t really complain about it, but we didn’t come up with good ideas for the Anniversary day on February 15th :( We thought of having a concert by the Space Captains, or a party with the Transformers, or a sort of intellectual celebration with poetry reading and a discourse from the oldest Robocitans… but the first one we have every year in summer, and the other two… don’t look much appetizable for children. Oh well, I hope we come up with some good idea soon, because we gotta start organizing ASAP. :S

Robocity got two new citizens in December: Crumplezone and Ransack. They’re pretty lovely robots, who I’d love to get to know better :D They seem to get along well with Inferno and little Red Alert though, so I think they’ll soon settle well in Robocity.

Oh, haven’t you noticed anything? ^^ I got a new DOMAIN! ;D Eheh. I bought this on January 14th, in memory of my mother, Eileen. I’m his son, and I wanna show it to everybody ;)
